Testing of FM-42(24) under high snow cover

The specialists of our company have tested the sensor FM-42(24) in order to determine the optimal working conditions under high snow cover.

The sensor was mounted on a pole at a level of 2.5 meters from the ground and was directed to a heavily snow-covered area, as shown in the figure. During testing we saw that the sensor FM-42(24) demonstrates optimal results when installed at an angle of 30°. This method of installation allows to the sensor to detect the intruder at a distance of 0 to 42 meters with a snow cover height of up to 2 meters. If it snows much in your region – this is a good reason to test FM-42(24) and make sure of its reliable operation.
